WORLD HISTORY ASSIGNMENTS
Week of April 6th- Hello WH II students. Its seems like we can finally get things going this week. I have an article for you to read and then respond to a few questions. You can do those right on the article I sent you and then send it back to me or type out your responses on a separate document and send it to me. Also, if you have any questions or want to discuss the article I will send out a Google Meets invite for Thursday (but that is optional). Also, if you have any questions, please let me know.

Week of April 13th- Hello WH II students. Hopefully you got something of the last article we read last week. Congratulations to Jarrett Chouinard for being the first one done (about 5 minutes after I sent it out). If anyone has any questions about it please see me during office hours (Thurs 11-11:30) or email me ([email protected]). This week we are beginning to examine exploration and its issues. Start with the "Lost at Sea" challenge. Keep your own score and send it to me I will post the top 5 players. Then look at the notes with questions on the document provided. Stop at the halfway point (it should be marked) and we will finish the 2nd half the following week.

Week of April 27th- To finish this unit on Exploration, what I would like students to do is choose one of the explorers I have listed and read the paragraph about that explorer. If you wish to do so, you may do further research on the person. Then, you are to imagine you are a journalist for a magazine like National Geographic. Interview your explorer and come up with 4-6 questions and make up that person’s responses. Be imaginative, have fun, but try to make sure the responses are believable for that person.
